Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

Basic Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School Graduate or Demonstrated Equivalent.
2. 6 years of experience in a technical support, skilled trades services position; performing maintenance services in an industrial manufacturing environment or demonstrated equivalent in education and training.
3. 4 years experience in a maintenance supervisory or management position with a focus on production or process related maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment.
4. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent trade school credentials preferred.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites with emphasis on the ability to navigate and formulate within Excel and Access.
3. Experience in creating Power Point presentation and giving presentation in front of large audiences.
4. 2+ years experience using a CMMS including work prioritization and planning of work orders.
5. 2+ years experience maintaining or the development/maintenance of an effective RCM Program.,
6. Experience with parts requisitioning and inventory controls in a manufacturing environment.
7. Experience supervising in a highly structure safety environment.
8. Experience with the development and training of a multi-skilled technical workforce.
9. Experience creating metrics and data mining for driving performance results.
10. Experience utilizing Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 4 M's, etc.

This position may require a valid Driver's License.
All Positions with URS will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location.
All Positions with URS may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.

Physical Requirements
• Have the ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
• Have the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
• Have the flexibility to bend, stoop and/or squat repetitively during shift.
• Have the ability to kneel repetitively during shift.
• Have the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis during shift.
• Have the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis during shift.
• Have the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
• Have the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

Special Requirements:
• Coping with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

Job Description:

URS has a 1st shift Maintenance Manager position available in the Fort Payne, AL area contingent on the award of new business.

This will be a full time position and is fully responsible for the production maintenance team. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the infrastructure for of our clients manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Manager ensures the safety and well being of its employees, safeguarding company funds and property, and generally represents URS in the field with respect to the client.

The ideal candidate will possess the experience and skills essential for managing a multi-skilled workforce is a manufacturing maintenance environment. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing the reliability and repairs of CNC/PLC equipment, production manufacturing equipment, and will develop and maintain the Reliability Centered Maintenance Program for critical assets. In addition, this individual will also develop and maintain the predictive and preventive maintenance programs for all assets, report performance to internal and external customers, own the continuous improvement program through tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and 4M's, etc.
