Receives daily construction activity schedule from contractors.  Assigns Quality Assurance & Material Testing (QAMT) field technicians to anticipated daily construction activities.  Ranks daily construction activities for level of testing and monitoring.   Daily site visits to assigned projects.  Attends weekly project progress meetings.  Communicates regularly with contractor QC manager.  Communicates regularly with CM Resident Engineer.  Reviews daily inspection reports of QAMT technicians for completeness as they pertain to contract documents.  Reviews daily inspection reports submitted by the QC technicians for completeness.  Responsible for printing and distributing field orders, plans and specifications, and approved requests for information for the assigned projects.  Monitors technician attendance and communicates areas of improvement to QAMT Manager.  Reviews QAMT technicians' timesheets for accuracy.  Generates communication for the request for overtime on warranted construction activities. Identifies testing, DIR accuracy and technician preparation gaps and recommends areas of improvement to the QAMT Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred

Able to understand project specifications and identify minimum testing requirements. 

Able to communicate areas of deficiency to the QAMT Manager. 

Able to organize in a fast moving environment.
