Job Description:

AECOM is currently seeking an entry level engineer to join our growing Building Structures Group at the AECOM Long Wharf Boston Massachusetts office.
As an entry level engineer you will perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further development of engineering judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities. Judgment will be limited to development details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. Supervisor screen assignments and provides guidance in techniques and procedures to be applied. Receives close supervision on all aspects of assignments.
Essential duties may include but are not limited to:

Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer
Apply standard practices and techniques to specific assignments
Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures
Prepare designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and final working drawings
Prepare quantity calculations
Maintain currency in codes and technologies
Maintains conformance with standards, established engineering practices and applicable codes
Implements and follows AECOM Quality Management Systems procedures

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering - Master's Degree a plus.
6 months to 3 years experience
Registered Engineer-In-Training preferred
Excellent Revit and BIM skills are required
2 years experience modeling structures with Revit Structure is required.

Strong computer modeling skills in structural analysis using SAP, SAFE, ETABS, etc.
