Exciting career opportunity with the #1 Design Firm in the world. This Engineer role will assist in developing the electrical portion of designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities. Each design, large and small, is unique, requiring creativity and innovation. Through the treatment facility designs, you have the chance to gain exposure to a vast array of engineering disciplines, be it chemical, biological, mechanical, structural, etc. Currently, the Houston AECOM office has been charged with designing improvements at the largest surface water treatment plant in Houston, originally designed and expanded by AECOM and having a maximum capacity of 350 million gallons per day. This role will have responsibility for the design of low and medium voltage power systems and instrumentation and controls. The desired candidate will have tremendous growth potential in this role. The incumbent will have the opportunity to create a career path with upward mobility and progression within our group, and potentially, ultimately becoming responsible for managing the electrical design team within the Houston office.
