Job Description:  The Glen Allen Facility Manager is responsible for maintaining the 83,000 square-foot facility, and the related office services generally associated with facility management. Included in these responsibilities are:
Job Description:

  • Point of Contact for Landlord and Lease-relations
  • Facility Budgetary and Cost Allocation Management
  • Internal Space Planning and Programming, Coordination of Reconfigurations & Internal moves, and Stacking plans
  • Office Maintenance and Upkeep - all aspects to include services provided by building management as well as AECOM property/office environment maintenance & upkeep (furnishings, assets, equipment)
  • Office Equipment Contract Maintenance
  • Office-wide Policies and Procedures
  • Office-wide Communications
  • Intra-departmental Negotiations
  • Coordination with Support Services (IT, HR, Safety, Corporate Facilities, etc.)
  • Employee Engagement Activity Coordination
  • Community and Social Responsibility Coordination
  • Responsible for Security System Maintenance & Administration include Access Systems
Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required: preferably in a Business Field or Facility Management related curriculum.
  • 5 years + experience in similar facility management managerial or FM supervisory role. Undergraduate degree required: preferably in a Business Field or Facility Management related curriculum. Participation in IFMA is a plus.
  • Must have experience in coordination of administrative staff and establishing support procedures.
  • Effective communicator for disseminating office-wide communications for all groups, and creating and disseminating office-wide communications regarding facilities and office services-related information.
  • Ability to impartially represent and support numerous operating units and functional groups.
  • Participation in IFMA is a plus.
