The Glen Allen Facility Manager is responsible for maintaining the 83,000 square-foot facility, and the related office services generally associated with facility management. Included in these responsibilities are: Job Description:
- Point of Contact for Landlord and Lease-relations
- Facility Budgetary and Cost Allocation Management
- Internal Space Planning and Programming, Coordination of Reconfigurations & Internal moves, and Stacking plans
- Office Maintenance and Upkeep - all aspects to include services provided by building management as well as AECOM property/office environment maintenance & upkeep (furnishings, assets, equipment)
- Office Equipment Contract Maintenance
- Office-wide Policies and Procedures
- Office-wide Communications
- Intra-departmental Negotiations
- Coordination with Support Services (IT, HR, Safety, Corporate Facilities, etc.)
- Employee Engagement Activity Coordination
- Community and Social Responsibility Coordination
- Responsible for Security System Maintenance & Administration include Access Systems
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required: preferably in a Business Field or Facility Management related curriculum.
- 5 years + experience in similar facility management managerial or FM supervisory role. Undergraduate degree required: preferably in a Business Field or Facility Management related curriculum. Participation in IFMA is a plus.
- Must have experience in coordination of administrative staff and establishing support procedures.
- Effective communicator for disseminating office-wide communications for all groups, and creating and disseminating office-wide communications regarding facilities and office services-related information.
- Ability to impartially represent and support numerous operating units and functional groups.
- Participation in IFMA is a plus.
