The Wheatstone LNG Project is a multi-train Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and domestic gas (DomGas) plant near Onslow on the Pilbara Coast. Bechtel is honored to participate in the engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up of this LNG plant.

Bechtel is seeking an Engineering Coordinator - Civil to join the Wheatstone LNG Project working from the Onslow site.

Role Overview

Provide a wide range of administrative support to the Field Engineering management team

Maintain department meeting schedules including the Engineering Managers daily schedule
Prepares and distributes minutes of meetings within the Engineering Team
Maintains engineering training metric and expedites individual participation
Distributes, collects and compiles any weekly engineering bulletins and progress updates
Prepare, distribute and coordinate electronic filing of reports, letters and other engineering correspondence
Perform data entry input in Teamworks and compile test pack documentation, as required
Performs other duties as assigned by Manager

Basic qualifications

Advanced working knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; intermediate skills in Access)
Working knowledge of Teamworks is preferred
Understanding of construction quality documentation and flow processes is preferred
Effective interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills

Work includes field inspections and the physical ability to conduct field inspections which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.)
