Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field. Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college. Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level Security Clearance.
Work Experience: Three years of job-related experience. Specific experience in DoD Logistics financial / budget support, including development and maintenance of finance metrics, funds status accounting and reconciliation, and obligation phasing plans or equivalent, is desired. Knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process, Navy financial / budgeting policies and procedures related to Operation & Maintenance, Navy (O&MN), Other Procurement, Navy (OPN), and also Ship Construction, Navy (SCN) appropriations is desired.
Special Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent interpersonal skills with outstanding written and oral skills; a capability for working with various VIRGINIA Class Integrated Product and Process Development Teams and Working Groups to facilitate Logistics budget planning and execution. PC skill in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint is required, with particular skill in Excel.

URS Corporation is actively recruiting for a proactive, reliable Finance & Budget Analyst with an interest in Finance / Logistics for our Washington, DC office. Navy experience is a plus, but not necessary.
The right candidate will have the ability to perform generation and update of Navy Program Office financial forms, including program-unique finance metrics documents where a good level of skill with Microsoft Excel would be needed. This position provides contractor technical support services for business and financial efforts for the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Submarine Program Office (PMS450) in support of the Logistics Office (PMS450F). Additional support efforts include: maintain Logistics financial metrics and assist in Navy financial / budget operations, with emphasis on Operation & Maintenance, Navy (O&MN) and Other Procurement, Navy (OPN) functions; perform budget and funds accounting actions; assist in the preparation, review, analysis and maintenance of financial documents, including Individual Task Management Plans and Individual Task Planning Sheets, Task Statements, Statements of Work and Technical Instructions, as related to government and contractor activities. Assist in development of the Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) budget and generation of POM Issue Papers and briefing materials. Assist in development and use of financial / budget execution tools and processes; and interface with the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Planning, Programming and Budgeting Team (PPBT) members. Support utilization of Navy financial tracking systems, including the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) web-hosted tools (will train the right candidate with an aptitude for this type of work). Develop correspondence, spreadsheets, and routine program analysis reports; maintain routine financial databases, and generate reports and documentation as directed. Perform other general administrative and program management tasks as directed by the customer. Interface with customers and coordinate tasks with other contractors / Navy activities.
