SUMMARY OF ROLE

SunPower is seeking a seasoned Senior Marketing Manager to drive the development and implementation of Marketing strategies and programs to support the business growth in France across segments and channels. Acting as the primary marketing point of contact for the French market, this role will suit a dynamic marketer who is highly organized and able to multi-task.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

- Define and implement the strategic and tactical marketing plan to support revenue and profit objectives, including working with the relevant areas of the business to develop effective strategies.
- Drive and measure acquisition and loyalty programs across segments.
This might include: demand generation campaigns, telemarketing, advertising, website, training, etc.

? Measure and track the effectiveness of Marketing programs by establishing measurable response rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
? Develop, in coordination with the MarCom team, best-in-class sales tools to support the sales team (e.g. brochures, case studies, videos, etc.).
? Ensure marketing activities are in line with the global marketing strategy, localizing as required, and utilizing materials and knowledge from other regions to maximize the marketing spend.
? Coordinate and drive joint Marketing initiatives with Total?s teams.
? Collaborate in the definition and implementation of any new product or service that will drive incremental revenue in the country (from conceptualization to launch)
? Identify national and local events, ensuring coordination and execution with the Events? team
? Set up and maintain strategic partnerships. Develop co-branded activities to increase brand awareness and support revenues
? Set up and manage a local network of vendors
? Manage and track Marketing budget ? Build and maintain relations with customers, associations, government officials and policy making bodies

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements
- MBA level
- 10+ years Marketing experience, with min. 8 years experience in a similar role
- Proven track record in online/offline demand generation programs. Solid experience in managing Communication Agencies.
- Extensive experience in working in a B2C and B2B environment
- Demonstrated experience of working successfully with a global, or complex, team structure
- Previous experience in energy/solar industry is an asset
- International profile with excellent skills in English and French (oral/written). Other languages are an asset (Arabic, Flemish, etc.)
- Hand-on, autonomous, result orientated individual. Able to strategize and Eexcute Preferred requirements
- Ability to calculate campaign performance metrics ( e.g. marketing ROI).
- Business planning & budgeting skills (e.g. business case development & budget allocation)
- Interpret/understand data and statistics on customer insight and market research
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing integrated marketing strategies.
- A proven track record of managing successful campaigns across a region, including taking a global marketing strategy and localizing the activities.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of through-the-line marketing programs including advertising, digital marketing, direct marketing, online marketing, website and events management, sponsorship, public relations and media/distribution strategies.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize workload.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills including demonstrated experience in managing external and internal stakeholders.

OTHER INFORMATION - This position is based in Paris, France and is on full time basis - Up to 30% of travel required
