Summary of Role: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Primary Duties and responsibilities:
Ensure there is a stable desktop/laptop operating environment in the Lyon offices, and respond quickly to any issues or downtime.
Provide support for corporate resources and applications. Mainly: Microsoft Office 2007, Outlook 2003/2007, Adobe suites and other corporate software like collaboration tools.
Carry out basic server and network administration
Carry out troubleshooting of hardware and software problems for desktop, laptops, printers, multifunction devices, video end-point devices, collaboration tools and mobile email devices.
Handle requests in a professional manner and ensure that requests are logged with sufficient information in the corporate Helpdesk tool. ? Ensure that workstation set up for new hires is done in a timely manner.
Maintain equipment lockers, storage and software libraries.
Ensure the follow up desktops/laptops with users for their ability to continue to serve company and user needs.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
Develop/select and conduct user training on an as-needed basis.
Provide IT workshops for users.
Create both online and offline training for users to reduce helpdesk incidents and workload in the department.
Available to travel to other EMEA offices to provide direct support or to attend local meetings if required.
Provide helpdesk and/or desktop support for VIP employees if required.
Review survey responses to ensure correct technical responses have been made and provide follow-up or redirection to support staff or management as needed.
Other duties and tasks as required or assigned.
Minimum Requirements: 2+ years in the field of Information Technology in a global organization.
At least 3 years performing desktop/laptop administration is required.

Technical skill
Ensure smooth and efficient operations for the front office environment (laptops, desktops, PDA, Smartphones, printers...).
In line with Corporate rules and service level agreements, support and improve IT resources as Office '07, Outlook '07, Adobe suite and Microsoft collaboration tools ...
Back office support for Windows servers and TCP-IP Network administration.
Daily smooth operation and support for any IT related issue is mandatory and include workstations, printers, video end-points and mobile devices. Logging, tracking and solving of incident token are handle based on ITIL policy.
Develop/select and conduct user training on an as-needed base
Responsible for hardware and software storage and inventories

Simplicity and efficiency;
Confident with executives and VIPs staff;
Good listener and willing to learn;
Must be at ease with daily operations as project management;
Well-organized and synthetic writer;
Large scale of knowledge and efficiency in a small local team but globally managed;
Know how to make himself available;

Preferred Requirements: English & French are required

- Location of the job : La Tour de Salvagny (France)
- Reasonable % of travel required
- This is a permanent position
- Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in France
