Summary of Role: The Director Business Technology & Information Systems, EMEA/APAC will be responsible for SunPower?s process optimization around Market to Order, Order to Cash, and Forecast to Delivery process areas, and associated IT solutions. This individual will lead our EMEA/APAC IT Business Systems, and will dually report to VP of Business Systems and Process Excellence as well as the Head of Finance/Administration EMEA/APAC. The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrated a passion for inspiring and developing people and will exceed expectations in satisfying customers with the services delivered. This leader will have a strong process focus and will be experienced in metrics driven management processes. This individual will be responsible for the EMEA / APAC regional implementation and support of SunPower IT?s strategic and tactical priorities to make IT as a strategic business enabler for SunPower. It will include driving projects and initiatives to improve and enhance existing IT capabilities, insuring the proper balance between adhering to global standards vs. meeting regional business requirements. This leader will be responsible for managing day?to?day operational activities within the EMEA/APAC region, including end?user support, IT infrastructure, and Business Systems applications. Candidate will provide input into architecture, design and planning, ensuring that SunPower?s EMEA/APAC IT Business Systems, Infrastructure and Services are implemented and supported according to best practices and that they are aligned with corporate IT?s strategic plans. The selected candidate will provide leadership by example, leveraging strong organizational, technical, process, project, and people management skills. This candidate will work closely with V.P. of Global IT Operations and the V.P. of Enterprise Business Systems, with local and global vendors, regional business stakeholders and with peers in the development and coordination of Regional vs. Central IT strategy, architecture, roadmap, budget, and execution. Key to this candidate?s success will be the ability to partner effectively with regional business leaders and stakeholders and working to facilitate process, business system, or infrastructure solutions to the business challenges faced in the EMEA/APAC region. Essential Duties: ? Achieve stakeholder agreement on priorities and alignment on business needs including funding and resourcing to support execution of EMEA/APAC IT services at SunPower, including support for end users, business applications including all customer facing applications, office & factory infrastructure, and factory applications ? Partner with senior IT management and peers to define application and infrastructure road map to ensure a scalable and effective IT Application infrastructure in EMEA/APAC ? Actively participate in corporate IT Project Prioritization & ZBB Process, representing the needs of EMEA/APAC IT so it can ensure success in meeting the business needs in the EMEA/APAC region. ? Manage Vendor relationships and negotiations related to contracts, statement for work being executed by third party providers ? Monitor performance of outsourced providers to ensure adequate and continuously improving service levels ? Advise business stakeholders on business process improvement and re-engineering opportunities ? Work with global and regional business process owners, and corporate business system owners to ensure that relevant information systems serve the business needs of EMEA/APAC effectively ? Maintains oversight over EMEA/APAC IT Operations, including Client Services (end user computing, desktop support, conference rooms and systems, cell phones, desk phones), network, servers & storage, and collaboration with the Global Help Desk & Command Center(NOC). ? Provides direction and oversight over EMEA/APAC IT Business Systems requirements, projects, implementations, and support, working closely with the central Business Systems teams to insure continuity of services (Finance, Supply Chain, Factory Applications, CRM, and Business Intelligence) ? Develops and manages Key Performance Indicators for EMEA/APAC IT while communicating regularly with senior management to report on operational performance, business adoption, and business outcome Skills / Experience: ? University degree in the field of computer science or Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience required; MBA is considered a plus ? 12+ years program management experience, preferably at a consulting firm ? Extensive knowledge of Salesforce.com, Force.com platform and ERP Oracle including B2B and B2C integration is preferred ? Process knowledge in sales, marketing, finance and manufacturing. ? 10+ years? experience with management and support of IT core infrastructure and services ? Strong verbal and written communication / presentation abilities, including facilitation, negotiation, presentation and demonstration ? Strong understanding and experience in ITIL processes ? Ability to effectively interface with technical and non-technical staff at all the levels of the organization ? Travel required within EMEA/APAC to engage with business managers, users and subject matter experts Minimum Requirements: University degree in the field of computer science or Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience required; 12+ years program management experience, preferably at a consulting firm • Preferred Requirements: MBA is considered a plus •Extensive knowledge of Salesforce.com, Force.com platform and ERP Oracle including B2B and B2C integration is preferred • Process knowledge in sales, marketing, finance and manufacturing. • 10+ years' experience with management and support of IT core infrastructure and services • Strong verbal and written communication / presentation abilities, including facilitation, negotiation, presentation and demonstration • Strong understanding and experience in ITIL processes • Ability to effectively interface with technical and non-technical staff at all the levels of the organization • Travel required within EMEA/APAC to engage with business managers, users and subject matter experts. |
