Accomplish PV System Design Tasks as directed by Product Lead 2. To create proposal design and construction drawing package from data provided by customers. To accomplish design tasks by collating needed design information. 3. Suggest process and tool improvement within Global Design 4. Assist Product Lead or SME in answering technical queries from Design Engineers; assist in checking and scheduling design task per Product Lead's instruction Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Key Accountabilities Responsibilities Proposal Design ? Accomplish Proposal Design tasks delegated by Product Lead ? Conduct aerial audit, and collate design information to accomplish design tasks ? Adhere to current SunPower Proposal Design guidelines ? Communicate with both Product Lead and stakeholders if there are design issues ? Submit accurate Proposal Design ? Revised designs per Product Lead or customer's request Construction Drawing Package ? Initialize construction drawing package per Product Lead's instruction ? Gather design information to accomplish drawing package ? Adhere to current SunPower Design Guidelines ? Communicate with both Product Lead and stakeholders if there are design issues ? Submit construction drawing package ? Revised designs per Product Lead or customer's request Other Design Related Tasks ? Accomplish Client Documentation log as required in Project Development Phase ? Calculation of Bill of Materials ? Schedule design tasks as directed by the Product Lead ? Check designs if assigned by Product Lead ? Update work record as required by the Management ? Accomplish trainings assigned by Training and Organizational Development and or by the Product Lead ? Attend meeting as required by the Product Lead Minimum Requirements: 1. Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or Architecture Graduate 2. 3-Year solid experience in Designing SunPower PV Systems or 4-Yr experience outside SunPower as Design Engineer 3. Knowledgeable in SunPower design guidelines for PV System (min. of 1-Yr. experience) 4. Advance AutoCAD knowledge 5. Keen on details and can work with less supervision 6. Willing to work in quick turn-around design environment 7. Advance computer skill: MS Office and Editing Softwares 8. Advance communication skills both written and oral Tools of trade: (equipment, machines, needed to make the job efficient) 1. Laptop 2. Extended Monitor (at least 24") 3. 1.8m x 1.8m work station 4. Cisco Phone 5. Network Printer 6. Common Scanner 7. Scientific Calculator |
