Summary of Role: SunPower's Legal Department seeks an Executive Assistant to fill a key administrative and operational position supporting the Legal Department.  This position will report to the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel.  Essential duties and responsibilities will include the following, as well as other items from time to time.
  • Provide coordination with Board of Directors, executives, and other internal and external constituents
  • Coordinate meeting preparation and alignment with staff, executives, and outside counsel
  • Prepare executive presentations, reports, and documents for the executive team, Board of Directors and operational reviews
  • Demonstrate flexibility, resilience and a great attitude while dealing with a variety of stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • Act as first line of contact for many external inquiries and customers
  • Assist with day to day administrative duties including filing, correspondence, expense reporting, scheduling, travel arrangements, copying, proposal and presentation preparation, meeting arrangements, events planning, coordination with EMEA and APAC strategic partners, technical reporting, budget coordination, law firm invoicing, and focal reviews
  • Coordinate and work with other Executive Assistants in a collaborative fashion, providing and receiving support to each other as needed
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 5+ years prior experience as executive admin in public company
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other related programs
  • Extensive experience scheduling, setting up and administering global meeting - facilities, technologies (WebEx, Live Meeting, etc.), telephony, etc.
  • Existing certification as a notary or qualifications to become a notary
  • Ability to handle many duties with time sensitive deadlines; self-motivated, with great attention to detail and discretion; and an ability to create technical presentations and develop and maintain databases of contacts and initiatives
Preferred Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle, iProcurement and other electronic billing systems
  • Strong proficiency in Directors Desk
  • Prior experience in multifunctional Legal Department
  • Prior experience working within a global organization
  • Prior experience interacting with board of directors, with professional demeanor, and managing meeting materials/logistics
  • Excellent overall communication, time management, and analytical skills
