Summary of Role: SunPower Corporation is seeking an experienced Lease Ops Director to manage the back office functions of our European lease portfolio reporting initially to the TPO Sr Director and dooted line to the Sr. Director of Global Lease Operations based in US. Once the program is developed he will report to the Senior Director, Operations, EMEA The measure of success of the role is to ensure appropriate financial returns are achieved by our finance partners and that all collections, loss mitigation and write-off actions are consistent with the risk management and reserve requirements of the fund. The service provider manager will perform on-going management of the contracts with our global service provider(s) and ensure vendors perform according to agreed deliverables at agreed rates. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): - Work with the EMEA TPO team to develop the programs (residential and commercial) in the different EU countries. France, Italy, Germany,... - Work with Structured Finance group to setup operational processes and procedures for each new fund and financier. Develop a repeatable on-boarding process for each new funding partner - Assist with management of new investor capital contribution requests and computation of cash distributions to investors based on the waterfall calculations within each fund structure. - Establish loss reserve targets and portfolio management policies and processes consistent with achieving those targets - Monitor the funds asset performance and prepare analysis and compliance reporting for the fund partners on a periodic basis for internal review and external reporting - Provide managerial oversight of the functional processing teams for leases in these funds and manage the operational, accounting, tax, reporting and compliance requirements associated with these funds - Ensure all general entity fund management legal, budget, tax and audit activities are met in compliance with the operating agreements of each fund. - Respond to investor inquiries and prospective investor requests as needed - Work with global business units to identify servicing requirements by geography and by financier - Establish and maintain SOW with vendor(s) specific to the needs of each geographic area - Develop lease servicing budgets and coordinate with business units to ensure appropriate lease servicing fees are included in all P&L models - Develop resource and staffing models to allow for portfolio growth with scaling costs at various volume levels - Ensure vendor compliance with SunPower servicing policies and procedures including:
- Act as escalation point for servicing partners and coordinate with other SunPower functional teams to develop new policies and processes as needed Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or business degree - 10+ years leasing industry experience - 5+ years management experience - Ability to evaluate priority and multi-task accordingly - Must be highly detailed-oriented and organized - Excellent written and verbal communication skills required - Excellent customer service skills required - Strong Excel skills (pivot tables and filtering) - Must be proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred Requirements: - Masters in Business Administration - 5+ years as specific functional owner for lease operations - Knowledge of international financing processes and requirements - 5+ years vendor management experience - InfoLease Portfolio Servicing Software Experience *LI-JE |
