Summary of Role: SunPower is seeking a Maintenance Manager to manage all operations and maintenance (O&M) functions at Antelope Valley Solar Park (AVSP) which encompasses a two plant solar project of 309MW and 270MW. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for (1) of these plants (AVSP 1 or AVSP 2) to execute scheduling, performance monitoring, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, vegetation management, module cleaning, reporting requirements and snow removal, etc. The Maintenance Manager will select contractors/vendors, initiate contracts and supervise contractors/vendors or SunPower PV technicians in the performance of his duties. The Maintenance Manager reports to the Plant Manager. The site is located in the vicinity of Lancaster (CA). Some travel may be required for this position. At least 50% of the Maintenance Manager's work will be performed in a work environment; however, the environment for field inspections exposes the Supervisor to the risk of electric shock, heights, moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. Additionally while working outdoors, the employee is exposed to heat, cold, inclement weather, and ultraviolet radiation from the sun. The noise levels may require hearing protection. Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands to dexterously maneuver small parts in confined spaces, such as wires, screws, and various components within electrical equipment. Regularly required to kneel, crawl, climb ladders and stairs, use scissor lifts and cherry picker. Minimum Requirements: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
