Summary of Role: This position is specific to providing supervision and management of people and procedures, relating to the regular compliance to Agreements, SOX, and internal controls when rendering end to end processing of financier leasing requirements to ensure SunPower assets are appropriately funded. The candidate will ensure the accuracy and timely submission of tranche reports to investors, calculate financing prepayments, monitor 1603 cash grant applications, prepare forecasted cashflows and meet budgeted cash collections. Job Responsibilities: • Assist the Tranching Manager for people development and alignment of goals to meet business objectives • Act as one of the liaison officers between SunPower, various financiers and investors, Lease Dimensions, US Department of Treasury, and U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) • Responsible for thorough review and team's compliance to Lease Agreements, Purchase and Development Agreements, SOX and internal control measures • Ensure the timely release of Notice to Proceed letters to Partner/Dealer • Ensure that insurance certificate for all lease projects are secured • Publish regular weekly Tranching reports to management • Review prepayment calculation of all leases to Corporate Finance group for assigned financier • Define and implement standardized and optimized workflows to support tranching processes, eliminating inefficiencies and failure points within the current process • Work with Tranching Manager on initiatives to improve tranching and document management process • Ensure data quality in generating information SalesForce and recommend initiatives on how to promote accuracy and efficiency in reporting • Responsible for meeting attrition targets and for uplifting morale and motivation of direct reports • Responsible for managing and driving team performance via use of tools such as coaching and feedback, results documentation, counseling and mentoring, rewards and recognition and delegation of tasks for competency and critical skills development • Responsible for monitoring required centric and product-specific training completion and ensuring team members are adept on product knowledge, updates and all related continuous education • Responsible for supporting workforce requirements to meet Service Level Agreements • Responsible for taking escalation calls or requirements for supervisory assistance or support in resolving end user issues. Serves as a subject matter expert on Tranching • Responsible for managing team meetings and participating in operations leadership meetings • Responsible for communicating to all team members any new requirements, changes, updates on all support related information as well as company information • Responsible for ensuring that all "tools of the trade" for each team member is working and all issues are communicated to helpdesk for resolution • Responsible for conflict and issue resolution which may be related, but not limited to payroll and people management • Represent the team on special projects/initiatives • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS Communication • Positive attitude • Great written and verbal communication skills to ensure high levels of support for all members of SSO • Comfortable taking direction from more than one person • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and effectively communicate prioritization decisions • Provide guidance and coordinate with different team members on specific procedures • Concisely summarize information on complex issues and convey information to team Work Approach • Regularly identify and implement ways to maximize efficiency for job functions • Reactive and flexible to fast turnaround requests • Deadline driven • Early identification and notification of potential problems • Highly organized with excellent operational skills • Methodical and proactive approach to work • Ability to perform long periods of in-office computer work • Strong attention to detail • Ability to quality control own work IT • Advanced skills related to Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint (building templates, macros, etc.) • Familiarity with enterprise and customer relationship management systems (Oracle, Salesforce.com experience preferred) • Identify and suggest areas for IT solutions to eliminate manual operations • Ability to efficiently manipulate large quantities of data and summarize information • Expertise • Ability to perform a variety of financial analyses, including revenue and cost reconciliation • Familiar with construction, homebuilding, and electricity concepts • Must have the ability to influence and persuade individuals at all levels of the organization • Must be detail oriented while still being able to provide strategic thinking and perspectives • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines and deliverables are required • Comprehension • Natural problem solver even when given incomplete information • Good judgment in decision-making and knowing when it is appropriate to consult with manager to verify decisions • Rapid comprehension of complex processes • Desire to understand the reasons why job functions are performed • EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE • At least five years in a similar analysis role or equivalent experience • Experience working on a daily basis with customers and co-workers via email, telephone and in person • BA in an accounting discipline • CPA preferred, but not required Preferred Requirements: na |
