Summary of Role: SunPower is seeking an experienced Global Product Brand Manager to join our team. This role will partner with the SunPower global product team, regional sales teams, and SunPower marketing to bring SunPower products and services to market. For this role we are looking for a business savvy marketer with the ability to condense complex financing and policy related concepts into clear product related positioning and value propositions for end customers. We are looking for someone who will shape the future of product marketing at SunPower as we evolve into a complete energy solution provider for homeowners, small businesses, and large corporations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): • Act as the single point of contact for product marketing projects • Define and implement formal launch and sustaining processes for SunPower products with clear roles and responsibilities between the product group, sales regions and the marketing functions at SunPower • Create a tiered prioritization strategy for SunPower product launches • Manage Tier 1 product launches and go to market campaigns, partnering with the regional channel and sales organizations. • Partner with the General Manager for each SunPower product line to ensure roadmap alignment with the product team's global business objectives • Conduct product positioning and value proposition creation for each of SunPower product lines in collaboration with product group • Maintain product marketing launch roadmaps • Run monthly meeting between the product group and marketing team • Drive the creation and maintenance of customer facing sales tools that differentiate SunPower in the marketplace using third party research including product videos, web content, sales presentations, spec sheets, sales proposal content, and brochures • Work with the SunPower corporate communications team to grow the importance of product PR as part of our marketing efforts Minimum Requirements: • A graduate level qualification in a marketing or business field, MBA preferred • 7+ years of experience with product brand management and marketing, preferably in technology or energy industries. • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills; can-do attitude • Excellent project management skills and ability to create and apply program timelines, interdependencies, budgets, and post program metrics Preferred Requirements: • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as a successful track record as a team player • A strong desire to be a part of a rapidly growing business with an opportunity to progress*LI-TJ |
