Summary of Role: As member of the SPTT Engineering team the Manufacuring Engineer will be responsible for all various tasks described below: This position reports to Operations manager local plant based in Toulouse, France. Candidates will be expected to work within a truly global team interacting with finance professionals in Europe, Asia and the United States. I. Responsibilities and Duties Participate to the implementation of "lean manufacturing" culture & methods to improve operational activities : Lean Manufacturing : • Regular audits on all production operators activities on workshops according to described processes • Training and lean manufacturing tools implementation : TPM; Kamban, Hoschin, SMED ... • Manage and follow-up various projects with differents departments on production lines. • Create and manage qualification processes for equipments. • Create processes to reduce non-quality Particpate to all manufacturing activities in local plant, improve processes, equipments and methods : • Optimize SMED. • Write operational processes. • Muda operations : search how to reduce non-addede value operations. • Manage all subcontractors activites for improving actions. • Elaborate standards, new procedures, new tools. • Collaborate to differents workshops & new projects. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor in Engineering Sciences • Industrial experience of at least 3 years • Good knowledge of Office tools : PWPT, XL ... • Good knowledge of various industrial tools : SMED. KAMBAN, 5S ... • Proactive, flexible, attention to detail, good management of priorities, Preferred Requirements: • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with cross-functional and multi-national teams • Languages: Fluent profesional English & French required, other languages are plus |
