Summary of Role: SunPower is seeking an Assistant Laboratory Technician to assist in laboratory duties for the Richmond Reliability group. The Assistant Laboratory Technician reports to the Sr. Staff Reliability Engineer and will be responsible for module testing, laboratory organization, safety, and interfacing with Engineers and other technicians. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): - Testing solar modules and other balance of system components - Carry out instructions from head technician and other technical staff - Accurately manage data from tests Minimum Requirements: - High School or AA degree - Must be able to lift 50 lbs routinely - Needs to be able to manage data on a PC Preferred Requirements: - This is a temporary position - Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in Richmond |
