Summary of Role: SunPower Corporation is seeking a Program Business Analyst to consult with Business Unit management to determine business goals of an optimal customer and partner experience and identify effective information systems and business process solutions to achieve these. This role will report to the Director of Market to Order Business Programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): - Work with core Online Experience team and business owners to ensure that relevant processes and information systems serve the business needs of customers and partners- including but not limited to CRM System, Business Intelligence System, Portals, etc. - Partner with Online Experience core team, business owners and SMEs on needs analysis, business requirements doc, business process flow diagrams, cost benefit analysis, business impact analysis, user acceptance testing and business readiness. - Provide business analysis for new Customer Portal deliverable - working with the business owners document the detailed functionality and how it should work so the IT team can effectively develop the functionality - Provide business analysis for enhancements to the Partner Portal- working with the business owners document the detailed functionality and how it should work so the IT team can effectively develop the functionality - Produce business requirements documents (BRD) for both Customer Portal and Partner Portal - Create the test scenarios and test scripts for the new functionality - Support the testing of the new functionality - Build Client Relations: establish productive and reciprocal relationships, manage stakeholders. - Create Project Plan and Schedule: estimate work required to deliver end-product based on scope; validate and translate into tasks and duration. - Assess Risk: identify risks to program success and create mitigation plans. - Specific Meeting Documentation: action/to-do lists, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes. Minimum Requirements: - Business experience with consumer leasing programs, global channel sales model. - Application experience with Salesforce.com Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, PRM and Force.com platform and configure to order tools. - Process knowledge in business to consumer processes (e.g. SunPower to residential customer) - Process knowledge in business to business processes (e.g. SunPower to partners) - Analytical thinking, decision making, planning and prioritization. - Project management process knowledge or certification. - Experience working in a global environment with offshore/outsourced resources across multiple time-zones. - Experience with systems integrated with back office/ERP systems. - Client-facing Skills: business networking, consulting and partnering, influence. - Communication: facilitation, negotiation, presentation and demonstration, facilitate meetings. - Strong verbal and written communication / presentation abilities. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel. - At least two successful project implementations. Preferred Requirements: - BS Computer Science (or equivalent) degree - 5 - 7 years total experience in a sales operation role, 3-4 years as PM / Analyst - 3 years direct experience with Salesforce.com and Force.com platform - 3 years experience working in a channel sales model (e.g. OEM to channel partner to customer) OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION - This role will be based in San Jose, CA - This is a 3 to 6 month role with opportunity for extension - Travel required - less than 10% - Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in the United States |
