Summary of Role: SunPower is seeking a Quality Management System Coordinator to implement and maintain the regions quality management systems. The Quality Management System Coordinator, reporting to the EMEA Upstream Quality Director, will be responsible for the development, implementation, effectiveness and maintenance of the regional Quality Management system consistent with the organizational mission, vision, Quality Manual and applicable Standards

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Manages all aspects of the Management Review process and assists upstream quality director in chairing the periodic meetings with senior management.
- Comprehends all aspects of business including Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Support, HR and Finance and has solid understanding of ISO 9001 requirements associated with each function.
- Competent at being able to develop ISO 9001 compliant audit plans and conduct effective value add audits evaluating large, complex functions with reasonable level of effort and then summarizing results in form suitable for executive leadership
- Skilled at developing Root Cause Corrective Actions, able to work with (and where appropriate "coach") team members to devise effective corrective actions to resolve or prevent non-compliances.
- Manages the QMS audit schedules by performing internal audits covering all relevant business processes at periodic intervals and facilitating external audits.
- Interfaces with the third party registrar with regard to the QMS.
- Interfaces with Global Quality Management System to provide periodic updates on audit progress, system effectiveness and external audit plannin , preparation and outcome.
- Works cross functionally to support readiness for audits.
- May be called on by members of senior management to conduct focused audits.
- Implementation, control, maintenance and distribution of system procedures, process flow diagrams, controls plans and related system documentation.
- Prepares and conducts training with respect to ISO 9001, system documentation and procedures
- Conducts system awareness programs on a regular basis
- Ensures company rules and regulations are adhered to by applying and/or enforcing company policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
- Ensures measurement and test equipment calibration are conducted at periodic intervals and are compliant to ISO 9001.
Minimum Requirements: - Degree in Technical Field, quality or Business Required
- Five years' experience as an auditor or in a Quality leadership role in an organization certified with an ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Good problem solving skills using quality tools.
- Poised and professional at making presentations to senior leadership.
- Works well with others, not easily intimidated.
- Thorough working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point & Visio.
- Highly effective communication skills in English and French essential - must possess excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Auditing certification- Internal quality system audit or Lead assessor.
Preferred Requirements: - Post graduate degree
- Automotive, Solar PV or semi-conductor industry experience
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification as a Quality Auditor (CQA) or Quality Engineer (CQE).

OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION
- Willing to travel within the region up to 10% of time
