Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
Registered Land Surveyor in PA
Registered Professional Engineer in PA, OH, and WV required
Minimum 9 years of relevant experience
Experience performing civil engineering design work in support of oil & gas, site development, or linear projects including site grading, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management and permitting
Good communication skills, effectively able to communicate with a diverse range of personality types
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner that ensures confidence, trust, and problem solving knowledge with existing and potential clients
Self-directed and able to function independently based on experience and civil design pipeline knowledge
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

The Infrastructure and Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Civil Engineer for immediate employment in the Pittsburgh office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Civil Engineering specific to environmental consulting services. The incumbent can look forward to projects related to OIl & Gas Well Pad and Pipeline Design, Permitting, and Construction Support.
Job Description: Responsibilities include being a design engineer or project engineer on design work related to preparation of erosion and sediment controls, stormwater management, and related calculations; evaluations of materials of construction for containment design; preparation of construction specifications, design drawings, technical reports and letters. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated above.
