Minimum Requirements: BS Degree in Technical Discipline
IE Project Management or PMP Certification
Minimum of 15 years of related experience with 5 years in the air transportation business area
Experience managing support to major federal clients such as TSA Office of Security Capability
Government contracting and risk management experience
Must have DHS/TSA experience
Experience working with security scanning/screening equipment
Demonstrated experience in developing client relationships and projects
Experience with project management software systems Microsoft Project, Excel based, etc.
Ability to work with other department at various locations, both internal and external to IE Leadership ability, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and sound judgment
Effective communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of laws, regulations, executive orders, standards and practices related to homeland security and sustainability

This includes both commercial business opportunities with airport authorities, airlines and other stakeholders as well as public sector contract opportunities with TSA and FAA.
As a Program Develop Manager, the successful candidate will leverage our national security systems and technology expertise expanding our service to existing clients, leading capture and managing new business opportunities, and in managing major programs. The successful candidate will serve as program manager, deputy program manager or technical lead on major contracts.
This position requires strong customer focus, and active engagement to exchange ideas that challenge the status quo and seek better and more efficient ways of doing business. Serving as a trusted technical and programmatic advisor to government project managers, the candidate PM must have in-depth knowledge of the TSA missions, operational community and intermodal transportation security. The successful candidate will support the National Aviation Systems Practice Leader to develop and recruit staff with the specialized skills required to support the development and growth of the practice.
This position administratively reports to the Group Leader for Security Systems Technology in Germantown focused on aviation security systems in support of both the homeland security and aviation business lines. The initial assignment for this position will be on the TSA Program Management Support Services or TSCAP contracts near TSA HQs in Pentagon City VA.
