• Bachelor's degree in records management, business administration or demonstrated equivalent and 12+ years of information management experience in related fields (specifically engineering, supplier/subcontract and field construction document management) including 4 years of demonstrated experience leading an office and/or regional document control department and staff. Or • Associate's degree in records management, business administration or a closely related field and 16+ years of experience in information management in related fields (specifically engineering, supplier/subcontract and field construction information management) including 6 years of demonstrated experience leading an office and/or regional document control department and staff. Or • 20+ years of experience in information management in related fields (specifically engineering, supplier/subcontract and field construction information management) including 8 years of demonstrated experience leading an office and/or regional document control department and staff.
Additional Experience:
• Demonstrated skills and experience in a leadership/supervisory role on major engineering and construction Oil & Gas and/or Power Programs/Projects • Leadership of an engineering and construction office and/or regional document control department and staff of 15 or more. • Development of project staffing budgets and mobilization / demobilization plans. • Electronic document management system knowledge and experience in an engineering and construction environment. • Demonstrated track record of technical skills and is fully competent in all aspects of the job including strong proficiency in enterprise document/records management systems, electronic records handling, internet based project collaboration systems, and emerging technologies. • The candidate will also have strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and proven leadership ability to promote business change management in regards to records and information management program improvements. • The candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively and have excellent interpersonal/people skills.

URS Corporation is seeking a Regional Project Information Manager to be based in our Denver, CO location.
Level Specific Responsibilities:
Technical Skills • Ensures consistent implementation of the Corporate, Division and Project Information Management Department policies, procedures, and standards. • Works with project teams on developing project information management plans. • Performs testing of electronic document management systems for process enhancements. • May coordinate work between project, departments, client, and project management. • Assists in project information management budgeting as necessary. • Reviews and improves project information management processes and procedures. • Coordinates work sharing with other North American regions and offshore locations. • Performs proposal presentations to clients, partners, and subcontractors.
Leadership • Directs project information management operational functions for the assigned region aligned with project information management objectives. • Delegates, supervises and evaluates subordinate supervisors' work assignments. • Provides and coordinates necessary training to project information management personnel. •Recommends appropriately trained and qualified staff for assignment to projects. • Oversees continuous professional development of staff. • Maintains and provides staff and overall management of project information management efforts for the assigned office/region. • Assumes mentoring and training roles as required. • Ensures project and equipment delivery schedules are maintained thru proper staffing and resource allocation. •May serve in a senior role as Project Information Management lead on major, multi-faceted projects and/or programs.
