The challenge? Helping ensure the supply of our world's oil and gas. At CH2M HILL, we deliver solutions that span the entire breadth of the oil & gas industry. Our Project Assistant job will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting and large scale projects in a fast paced environment. Each day, you will be an important team member providing administrative assistance and support to the leadership of the Project Management functions of the Industrial, Energy, and Mining Group.

You should be a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with 5 years experience in an administrative support role, and previous administrative experience in the energy industry with engineering and construction projects.

Our Project Assistants:

  • Perform administrative activities such as project filing, distribution, supplier invoice processing and assist with expense reports, data input, quality review, editing and maintaining documents in a database
  • Maintain calendars and schedule meetings
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations
  • Generate business correspondence and records
  • Make travel arrangements to include air travel, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, training enrollments, and itineraries
  • Complete other ad-hoc requests as needed. Occasional overtime may be required

Additional Information: Relocation assistance is not provided. CH2M HILL will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g., H- 1B visa, etc) to fill this position. Would prefer local candidates. This is Full-Time Project Hire position.

Basic Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of administrative work experience
  • Five (5) years experience working Office Suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Construction/Engineering experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of appropriate procedures for handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong teamwork, customer service and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible
