The Infrastructure and Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Safety Professional for immediate employment in the Shreveport, Louisiana office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in safety oversight on construction projects specific to industrial (chemical/refining) construction projects. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to projects including oversight of multiple construction projects within the client's site.
Incumbent Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage the overall safety program on chose industrial construction projects
• Bring additional insight to improvement opportunities that can be shared across the different construction sites
• A mentor to client teams as they conduct safety and health audits on projects
• Set Health and Safety expectations for contractors, and hold them accountable
