Minimum Requirements:

•MS in Civil Engineering or related field
• PE License
• Minimum 15 years experience in USACE civil works in projects
. Proven ability to lead projects
• Knowledgeable in use of Microsoft Office suite of software (word, excel etc.)
• Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
• Valid Driver's license

Job Description:

The infrastructure Engineering Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Water Resources Engineer experienced in civil works planning and engineering for immediate employment in the Clifton, NJ office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in civil works panning and engineering and program management, specific to storm damage reduction projects. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to projects including Hurricane Sandy restoration projects, flood risk management projects and possibly navigation deepening projects.

Responsibilities:
Lead authorship of USACE civil works reports
Direct staff in preparing report documents
Perform QC review of reports by others
Assist in plan formulation
