Summary of Role: Develop an IE Organization that will support Operations on project management, Capacity and Manpower Planning, Capacity/OEE improvement, productivity analysis, tool standards(UPH), layout standardization and plant's future expansions across all Module Manufacturing. Lead the team on achieving the organization's mission and vision. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: 1. Lead the team to create the IE Organizations' mission and vision and its revisions if needed 2. Create a long-term plan/roadmap 3. PROJECT MANAGEMENT a. Creates and presents EPR1 approval for plant wide IE/OEE projects. b. Act as the Over-all Project Manager for plant wide projects related to IE c. Oversee OEE Flagship projects d. Motivate the team e. Celebrate success of the team 4. CAPACITY PLANNING a. RAMP MEETING i. Attends weekly ramp meeting facilitated. Makes sure that at least the flagship projects are on-time. ii. Gives direction to the team on which A/Rs or problems to focus. b. CAPACITY/OEE IMPROVEMENT i. Create long-term Capacity plan/roadmap ii. Define tool metrics and OEE projects that will support long-term plans that may include any of the ff: 1. MTTR/MTBF 2. Losses reduction 3. Identification and improvement of bottleneck tools iii. Makes sure that the OEE performance is meeting the roadmap iv. Help break barriers to complete capacity related issues/tasks c. Review capacity/OEE analysis that will be used to justify future projects. 5. SPACE PLANNING a. Review and approve all layout requests including additional tools/items and/or any relayout activities for both Fabs. b. Create a standard workgroup layout across all Fabs c. Create a long-term space planning d. Define cost/area each Fab. 6. LEAN MANUFACTURING a. Lead labor productivity program b. Support KPO identified program - reduction of wastes 7. MANPOWER a. Attend EDR reviews to comprehend ergonomics for new tools b. Validate additional or reduction in Manpower c. Validate MMR computation 8. Define IE concerns on Tool Install Requirement. 9. Approve new or modified peripherals or furniture design. Should be ergonomically designed 10. Approve proposed peripherals requirement 11. Review developed simulation model. 12. Attend sponsored Weekly SPC Meeting. 13. Develop Quarterly KI and present to Module Director for approval. 14. PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT a. Approve KI with Engineers and Techs every quarter b. Develop a training roadmap to each member of the team. c. One-on-one with Engineers and Techs at least once a month d. Review KI progress of Engineers and Techs at least once a month e. Justify promotion of qualified techs and/or Engineers every CPR cycle. Job Requirements: 1. Develop a long-term mission and vision for the IE Organization 2. Create a training roadmap to each member 3. Excellent project management skills 4. Advanced knowledge on Time Study, ergonomics and ACAD 5. Can work and present project justification to all levels of Management 6. Excellent communication skills 7. Knowledgeable on lean manufacturing 8. Has the ability to handle multiple project and task by optimizing use of available resources and manpower (can effectively delegate work to others) 9. Mastery on the over-all plant capacity and the behavior of individual tools 10. Has the ability to drive the flow of discussion to stress on issues that should be focused on, can easily bring the team back to the core of the topic in case the discussion starts to get side tracked. 11. Powerfully useexcel to organize and analyze data. An expert in using autocad for lay out activities 12. Excellent skill on problem solving. 13. Excellent leadership skill.
