AECOM is seeking a candidate for the Geotechnical Department in Philadelphia, PA. Job Description: The successful candidate will perform engineering studies in the field of soil mechanics and soil engineering. Will apply principles of soil mechanics in the investigation, evaluation and design of civil works involving foundation and/or use of earth materials and may include writing reports, inspection, testing and construction of same. May Include reconnaissance of geological and geotechnical information and site inspections. Will also perform inspection of subsurface investigation. While this position will be housed in our Philadelphia office, the successful candidate may from time to time travel during the day or evenings to project sites, client meetings or other AECOM offices. Successful candidates will be expected to work independently and in design teams to mainly advance projects. Qualifications:
