AECOM is currently looking for an Industrial Market Sector Leader to join our growing business in the Americas. The Industrial Market Sector Leader will be responsible for: • Identifying and managing Client accounts in the Industrial sector across the US and Canada • Managing and growing an established team of industrial engineers and technologists with a focus on the design of industrial projects • Recruitment, deployment, retention, employee engagement and career development, staff coordination and assignment to projects • Mentoring senior, intermediate and junior industrial staff and provide them with technical guidance; • Monitoring and managing the quality of the technical deliverables; • Contributing technically on projects: as a project manager, engineer or as an Internal Design Reviewer; • Managing industrial staff to maximize the technical and financial performance of the Design business line; • Leading business development, client management, and proposals as required. Qualifications: • An engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution; • License for Permission to Consult would be a asset; • 10+ years of extensive experience in all phases of the project lifecycle with a emphasis on preliminary and detailed design on projects in mining and heavy industrial and manufacturing; • Proven ability to lead, manage and engage staff • Experience with advanced design toolsets including AutoPlant and Revit would be considered an asset; • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships; • Excellent Communication skills.
