JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform tasks such as:
a) Energy audits (ASHRAE Level 1 through Level 3) for varying clients, such as municipal, university/educational, state, healthcare, and federal government sectors;
b) Identify/develop energy and utility cost reduction measures that address HVAC systems, central/district cooling and heating plants, compressed air systems, pumping systems, electrical systems, building controls and energy management systems, lighting, water consuming equipment and fixtures, building envelope, etc.,
c) Energy/cost savings calculations utilizing Excel based workbooks and computer simulation programs (such as eQuest and/or Trane Trace),
d) Life cycle cost analysis,
e) Coordination of technical activities on assigned projects,
f) comply with applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and company standards,
g) Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants and,
h) supports the Project Developers. 
Ability to travel.  Ability to manage small teams and/or multi-discipline tasks.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Position reports to the Engineering Manager and the lead Project Developer for specific projects/tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:
Competent in one or more technical disciplines with a broad general knowledge of many aspects of engineering for the Energy market sector. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint. Competent in AutoCAD and energy analysis programs such as eQuest, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP.
