Job Description:  Conduct field Inspection of MEP sub-contractor work within the area of responsibility.


2.     Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction Management.



4.    Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities.



5.    Assists superintendents in the preparation of construction methods, schedules, manning charts, material and equipment requirements.



6.    Supervises and directs subordinate non-manual personnel, as assigned.



7.    Ensures quality and safety standards and requirements for MEP systems are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.



C.    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


1.    Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation relating to field activities.



2.    Must be able to recognize that a problem exists in their area of responsibility, and report and receive direction from the supervisor.



3.    Determines the priority of assignments based on critical deadlines that must be met.



4.    Must be able to communicate with all participants involved with a construction project.



Work experience in craft, non-technical or technical positions.



F.   Education Requirements


Educational training in Construction, general engineering or equivalent experience and training.
