Job Description:

AECOM is seeking an Entry / Staff Civil Engineer for the Civil Department in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates are required to have a BS degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in the oil and gas industry, 0 to 4 years of relevant experience, and having received the Engineer-in-Training certification.
The role of Entry / Staff Civil Engineer generally includes the following responsibilities:

Performs a variety of design tasks independently
Works together with others on design teams
Follows corporate quality procedures
Effectively communicates (written & oral) with peers

Experience in multiple elements of civil engineering design with an emphasis in oil and gas type projects including, but not limited to the following, is desired:

Design of well pads and impoundments
Design of gathering pipelines
ESCGP-1 & 2 permitting
General Permits for stream crossings
Storm water management
Design of horizontal directional borings
Plan and construction documents preparation
Site grading and drainage
Erosion and sediment pollution control
Right-of-way
Pavement design

The following skillsets are desirable:

Design of large oil/gas transmission lines
Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience in Microstation and InRoads
Highway design experience
