AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for the Civil Department in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates are required to have a BS degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in the oil and gas industry, 10+ years of relevant experience, and a Professional Engineering license.
The role of Senior Civil Engineer generally includes the following responsibilities:
- Oversees the production of civil engineering aspects of projects
- Provides technical direction to and mentors civil engineers
- Ensures corporate quality procedures are followed
- Meets client quality, schedule, and budget expectations
- Interacts with clients and oversees sub-consultants
- Assists Project Managers with various tasks including developing scope, schedule, and budgets for projects

Experience in multiple elements of civil engineering design with an emphasis in transportation and site development projects including, but not limited to the following:
- Design of well pads and impoundments
- Design of gathering pipelines
- ESCGP-1 & 2 permitting
- General Permits for stream crossings
- Storm water management
- Design of horizontal directional borings
- Plan and construction documents preparation
- Site grading and drainage
- Erosion and sediment pollution control
- Right-of-way
- Pavement design
The following skillsets are desirable:
- Design of large oil/gas transmission lines
- Professional Engineering Registration within Pennsylvania and/or West Virginia
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience in Microstation and InRoads
- Highway design experience
