Our Honolulu office is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to assist and perform project management, client services, remediation investigation and feasibility studies. The candidate should have experience with soil and groundwater sampling and report writing. The candidate must be willing and able to learn new methods for data collection; be self-motivated, and able to follow through with assignments. Project Management; supervision of field staffs doing various types of sampling, and data collection; analysis of data and sampling results and report writing; and administrative tasks make up the majority of work assignments. field work, project management, administrative tasks, and client management make up the majority of the work assignments. Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science (geology, hydrology, environmental engineering, or other environmental science), minimum. Master's Degree in these same disciplines preferred. Skills and Experience: Previous experience in site investigation, RI/FS, CERCLA, and HIDOH requirements. Professional experience level of 10 + years. Good verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with NEPA and HRS 343 is a plus. Must be able to work with limited supervision and be eager to take on new responsibilities .
