Bechtel's Information Systems & Technology organization is seeking a PKI & Certificare Engineer to join the Identity and Access Management team.
Duties will include:
- Administer multiple high priority servers.
- Provide operations support for the customer's Active Directory and Certificates Services environment(s).
- Develop and maintain smart card authentication technologies and policies.
- Provide a road map for technology for PKI related services.
- Document standard operating procedures for these services as well as participation in cross-certification compliance policy.
- Interact with end-users to resolve technical issues for supported directory and authentication systems will also be required.
- Operational support for the Windows Server 2008 Certificate Services Infrastructure including (CA, CRL, OCSP, & nCipher systems) including troubleshooting IdM interface and certificate issuance issues as they arise.
- Serve as PKI administrator and participate in projects related to PKI / authentication and directory services systems.
- Maintain existing PKI system, patch existing systems, and deploy new components based on demand.
- Provide support on technology and process development as well as implementation.
- Identify and document system management best practices.
- Design certificate templates for S/MIME, Smart Card, Wireless Access, Identity Federation and other purposes.
Basic Qualifications (Level 1)
- 9+ years of experience within Information Technology
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in Identity Related systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study
Basic Qualifications (Level 2)
- 13+ years of experience within Information Technology
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience in Identity Related systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study
Additional Information
- Experience developing and implementing enterprise PKI solutions.
- Large environment/multi-forest experience in Active Directory.
- In depth knowledge of certificate templates.
- Knowledge of Smart Card authentication and provisioning.
- Demonstrated communications skills in both written and oral presentations.
- In depth knowledge of AD certificate replication.
- Knowledge of current industry best practices.
- Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure and X.509 concepts.
- Knowledge of Identity Federation is preferred.
- Good time management skills with a focus on quality service and deliverables.
- Demonstrated project management experience with implementing IT projects.
- Ability to coordinate and direct the efforts in a global team environment.
- Must be able to work under the stress of multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- An MCSE in either server platform is preferred.
