Bechtel is seeking an SAP Configuration Analyst for the Glendale, AZ office. This position will act as a liaison between Bechtel Business Services (BBS) HR/Payroll and Corporate System Application Support. The position requires knowledge of Human Resources, Time Evaluation, Payroll and FI, combined with a understanding of system functionality, as well as obtaining requirements from BBS HR and Payroll functions and helps in resolving issues related to SAP HR and Payroll issues. Specific responsibilities include: • Work directly with user team to ensure systems deliverables meet work process requirements • Analyze and diagnose applications problems, gather requirements, recommend system solutions and enhancements to improve processes and systems and implement solution • Develop eCATT scripts to assist in data conversions and mass data loads for users • Develop functional and techincal specifications in accordance with IS&T standards and procedures • Provide second level operation end user support • Work with training manager to ensure training materials and all documentation are updated with enhancements/changes to the SAP system • Assist in development of test cases and coordinate enhancements/changes through testing. Actively solicits subject matter expert involvement and participation in testing • Configuration in SAP Payroll Module to support payroll engine • Configuration in Human Resources and Organization Management • Configuration in SAP time Module to support US payroll • Create OSS messages and liason with SAP in resolving issues • Develop reports using SAP Business Objects • Develop queries using Adhoc query tool set in SAP • Execute baseline testing for core HR, Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service • Integration and Unit Testing for HR, Payroll and FI configuration • Testing of Reports and Interfaces . Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science degree • Minimum 6 years of SAP Payroll configuration experience, version ECC 5.0 or higher Additional Requirements: • Experience in implementation planning, gap fit analysis, testing, rollout and post-implementation support • Ability to translate Business requirements for system changes into specifications • Ability to perform successfully in an environment where meeting the customer's business needs and creating/maintaining positive customer relationships are as critical as technical competency • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must • Provide guidance on requirements for system enhancements • Ability to assume significant responsibility and work independently • Strong Multi-tasking and time-management skills • Strong attention to detail and meticulous work style, appreciate data quality • Ability to work well a distributed and cross-functional team environment • Advanced knowledge of a Software Application programming language • Life Cycle and real-world experience in implementation of Software Quality Assurance plans • Assertive in learning new technologies • Familiar with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) principles and the Software Development • Advanced knowledge and experience with software support, development, maintenance and/or computer operations For admin use only: CB12 Bechtel is among the most respected engineering, procurement, and construction companies in the world.
