CH2M HILL Carpenter Foreman Jobs-Austin, TX The challenge? Helping our communities stay safely on the move. Our Carpenter Foreman job will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting, large scale construction projects. You should be a self motivated, detail oriented professional with experience in road and bridge construction. The Carpenter Working Foreman must be able to produce formwork for concrete cap beams and abutments in a safe and timely manner in accordance with project drawings. Carpenters will perform tasks involving the construction, erection, and repair of temporary forms used to lay concrete. Carpenters should be expert woodworkers capable of using hand and power tools to construct forms, scaffolding, and supports for a heavy construction project. Carpenters must be able to properly read and understand construction plans, sketches, and properly interpret oral instructions. Bridge experience with precast girders a plus. Candidate must pass an initial drug screen and accept random drug testing practices. Duty hours will vary throughout the project, flexibility in scheduling is highly desired. Must be willing to accept and complete other minor tasks as assigned.
