Minimum Requirements: • Able to operate heavy equipment, specifically track excavators, track loaders, wheel loaders, and skid-steer loaders • Able to communicate clearly with supervisors and peers • Training: 40-HR HAZWOPER Training • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver's license required • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test Job Description: Equipment Operator who will be involved with and perform the following tasks. - Operate heavy equipment for the on-site performance and implementation of demolition and remediation projects. - Provide servicing, maintenance, and fueling of heavy equipment to ensure continued operation of equipment. - Monitor heavy equipment usage and performance and notify Site Superintendent or Equipment Manager of maintenance needs or issues related to damage/broken components. - Operate heavy equipment under URS health & safety practices and guidelines on the project site. - Assist with on-site tasks and work as necessary, including non-operator related tasks.
