Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in finance, business administration, economics or demonstrated equivalent • Minimum 5 years of combined professional accounting and industry experience with significant interaction and understanding of accounting and finance • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and financial software • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test Job Description: This position supports the East Side Access Program operations group • Assisting in responding to external agency audits and questions on regular financial reports • Audit review of consultant invoices for contract compliance • Assisting in preparing regular forecasts and estimates at completion for labor, material and Third Party contracts • Analysis of cash outlay requirements by various funding sources • Maintenance of databases for program and construction management staffing • Tracking budget and contingency transfers and availability • Work with MTA Budget Department on funding and budget authorizations • Preparing monthly commitment plans • Preparing presentations on program financial status for senior management • The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated above
