**Position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. Position may require limited travel.

We are seeking to hire a Security/Facilities Administrator to support our Germantown, MD office.

Responsibilities:

Under the general direction of the Director of Security and Facilities, serve as the Security Operations and Facilities Administrator responsible for development, planning, organizing and directing major elements of the Physical Security, Space/Occupancy, and facilities, management oversight, at the Germantown, MD Federal Services Headquarters location. Also, oversee data management and analysis activities for Federal Service Security Operations. Assist Director with overall department administrative issues including strategic planning, goal setting, program development and implementation and budget administration. Liaise with Law Enforcement Personnel to implement crime prevention strategies and investigatory and enforcement follow-up for Germantown location. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on performance improvement initiatives. Close collaboration externally with the facility landlord and internally with the Safety organization. Ensure files are established and maintained for office equipment, floor plans, suppliers/vendors, property management POCs, security systems, and utility systems are fully operational and inspected in accordance with preventive maintenance schedules.

Security Responsibilities:
• Demonstrated ability and experience with security protocols, training and skills enhancement methods.
• Ability to assess operational needs, selection and maintenance of appropriate supplies and equipment while remaining fiscally conscious and staying within budgetary guidelines.
• Working knowledge of U.S. Government security regulations to include NISPOM and Intelligence Community Directives.
• Working knowledge of U.S. Government personnel systems to include JPAS, ACAVS and scattered castles.
• Ability to prepare and submit appropriate correspondence, reports and support documentation.
• Manage and maintain Security Integrated Management System (SIMS) data base.
• Manage and maintain the personnel clearance data base.
• Ensure adherence to regulations for generation, transfer, storage and handling of classified materials.
• Responsible for operation and maintenance of security equipment, alarms, and access control system.


Facilities Responsibilities:
• Supervise, train, and/or educate personnel in office or facility policies, practices, and procedures
• Coordinate compliance of property management contracts in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and company policies, practices and procedures
• Maintain a copy of the leases and is cognizant of its provisions, particularly those related to landlord/property management company responsibility for safety, security, maintenance systems, (heat, air, power, etc.). Interface with the building property manager/landlord and facility manager, as necessary, to make sure all facility systems are working properly and maintained in accordance with the lease requirements
• Interface with FS procurement staff and facility managers to request/coordinate/manage facility repairs that are URS's responsibility
• Manage/coordinate office space requirements/layout, furniture, IT, telephone additions/disposition, space planning, office assignments, including maintaining and updating of floor plans/spreadsheets with occupant assignments
• Work with Division Real Estate Management Office to obtain project/construction management assistance as needed for facility upgrade projects
• Identify potential project problems or opportunities, analyze the issues using all appropriate resources, develop alternative, and arrive at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities
• Assist with managing facility budget, space allocations, office moves, and building maintenance, as directed
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested



General:
• Skill in analyzing data in order to be able to create spreadsheets, graphs, and charts that relay correct information for management report.
• Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines as directed.
• Demonstrated abilities to maintain and complete numerous tasks while remaining flexible by changing priorities when required.
• Demonstrated ability to support program goals and offer suggested improvements.
