Minimum Requirements: • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related scientific field and at least 10 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communications and analytic skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
• Some positions may require the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.
• Position may require travel.
• Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Job Description: URS is looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This position is contingent on contract award.
Responsibilities:
• Support definitization of the requirements for support equipment development, to include information to support CONOPS and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) development.
• Support PAD (Product Alteration Documents) and SPALT (Strategic Programs Alterations) processes. Submit technical reports to the Government summarizing findings and recommendations, review existing TDPs provided as GFI and make necessary changes or develop new TDPs as required. The TDPs shall contain such items as technical data requirements, specifications, and management plans.
• Support for government's preparation of documents and artifacts necessary for successful completion of Entry and Exit Criteria for Systems Requirement Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR) as required by SSP. This includes to the development of Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Gating Documents, CONOPS, Trade Studies, Integrated Master Schedule, Integrated Master Test Plan, Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plans, Analysis & Examination Plan, Safety Assessment Report.
• Provide program support for meetings or reviews Meetings will be held at NSWC Crane, contractor and vendor facilities, and other Government activities These meetings include program reviews, technical interchange meetings, logistic meetings, working group meetings, configuration management meetings, design review meetings, and program assessment team meetings.
• Prepare presentations for meetings. These presentations will consist of viewgraphs, storyboards, or slide presentations (computer based viewgraphs), addressing selected topics. The contractor shall document the proceedings, and complete action items and assignments resulting from these meetings.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
