AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for the Civil Department in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates are required to have a BS degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in highways and site development, 10+ years of relevant experience, and a Professional Engineering license. The role of Senior Civil Engineer generally includes the following responsibilities:
- Oversees the production of civil engineering aspects of projects
- Provides technical direction to and mentors civil engineers
- Ensures corporate quality procedures are followed
- Meets client quality, schedule, and budget expectations
- Interacts with clients and oversees sub-consultants
- Assists Project Managers with various tasks including developing scope, schedule, and budgets for projects

Experience in multiple elements of civil engineering design with an emphasis in transportation and site development projects including, but not limited to the following:
- Highway design (alignments, geometry, cross section, guiderail, traffic control, etc.)
- Plan and construction documents preparation
- Site grading and drainage
- Hydrology and hydraulics
- Stormwater management
- Erosion and Sediment Pollution Control
- Utilities
- Permitting
- Right-of-way
- Pavement design
The following skillsets are desirable:
- Professional Engineering Registration in Pennsylvania and/or West Virginia
- Experience with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike projects Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience in Microstation and InRoads
- Experience with projects in the oil/gas industry
