Job Description: The consulting practice of AECOM Transportation is a nationally recognized leader in providing transportation infrastructure project development, transportation planning, and management consulting services to the transit, highway, rail, airport, intermodal, and marine sectors. We provide high-quality, client-focused professional services to transit organizations, departments of transportation, transportation authorities and enterprises, metropolitan planning organizations, and local governments. We are seeking mid-level staff to support our transportation infrastructure planning, finance, economics, and management consulting practice in our West Palm Beach, FL office. Candidates shall: (1) have a Masters or Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning, accounting, economics, finance, management, applied mathematics or equivalent; (2) have deep knowledge in transit planning, especially with FTA's Major Capital Investment Project and similar projects; (3) have excellent problem-solving skills; and (4) have excellent oral/written communications skills. Primary responsibilities include: (1) contributing to or managing projects ranging from $100k-$5M; (2) project evaluation for Alternatives Analysis/DEIS and major investment studies; (3) report writing and presentation of findings; (4) daily client interaction; (5) management of junior staff; and (6) assist in developing proposals and new business efforts.
