Job Description:  Manages client's design and construction programs
Responsible for all aspects of the program.
Represents the organization as the primary contact on contracts and projects.
Provides oversight and direction to AECOM Project Managers, technical staff and subcontractors.
Operates in complex management environments with multiple stakeholders.
Interacts with public officials and/or executive level clients on significant project matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Prepares and delivers presentations in support of client's program.
Assesses and actively manages risk on behalf of client and AECOM.
Routinely resolves high risk or very difficult issues with significant scope, schedule, and/or financial impact.
Develops and reviews projects from inception through commissioning and turnover including design, cost  and construction management throughout the program execution including value engineering.
Applies advanced understanding and application of project management core processes and methodologies.
Utilizes lessons learned to strengthen AECOM's program/portfolio management processes, procedures and tools.
Assembles, trains and mentors staff using internal and internal resources.
Requirements
15 years of project management experience
Bachelor's or advanced degree
Experience with education sector K-14
Familiar with the San Diego area
Experience in project development and facility condition
