In this role, you will develop and implement store marketing strategy based on the needs of the store. We are looking for someone can communicate clearly with cross-functional teams within the store and region, and also has the ability to leverage time and resources effectively.

  • Excellent customer service is a keystone for our success; so you must have a proven ability to build relationships, network, and delight and satisfy customers!
  • Let your internal “foodie” shine! We want you to love our food as much as we do, so a passion and knowledge of natural foods is desired.
  • Being a grocery store, we prefer if you have a background in the food industry and/or retail food preparation, but this is not a requirement.
  • As someone who will represent our brand within the community, prior knowledge of community is a plus. In addition, it is imperative that you are able to interact with media and maintain positive relationships with the business and vendor community.
  • This job is busy, so we need you to be organized, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively, able to follow through, pay attention to details, and have a vision for the “big picture”.
  • You're a marketer, so you know how important strong written and verbal communication skills are to succeed!
  • We will train you to use the Whole Foods Market systems, but we need you to have excellent computer skills and already know how to use MS Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Every department has a budget and a schedule; we need someone who knows how to get the “best bang for the buck” and has time management skills too!
  • Because leadership is so important in this role, we need someone who can train and inspire Team Members to excellence in all aspects of the marketing department.
  • Lastly, our retail environment is not your typical 9-5, and that's a good thing! But because of this, we'd like you to be available to work a flexible schedule to meet store schedule needs, and travel as needed.
