CH2M HILL Facilities Services HVAC Technician Jobs - New Orleans, LA

The challenge? Help deliver safe, reliable and extremely competitive integrated facilities management services that focus on enhancing the life-cycle and performance output of our clients' assets. Our HVAC Technician careers provide you with an opportunity to perform a wide variety of skilled preventive and complex facilities equipment maintenance duties including complete trouble shooting and repairs on all types of HVAC and industrial equipment at our client's industrial facility. Each day, you will be the face of CH2M HILL as you perform moderately complex duties of a specialized nature, frequently requiring independent analysis and decision-making. You should be a self motivated professional with a minimum 5 years of related experience and technical training in specialized areas of industrial or commercial HVAC work and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each HVAC Technician job.

Our HVAC Technicians:

Perform a wide variety of skilled preventative and routine equipment maintenance duties on installed equipment. Tasks include complete trouble shooting and repairs.
Perform equipment observations and adjustments using installed monitoring programs.
Adhere to all site standards for safety, quality, housekeeping and security.
Work as a skilled craftsman, performing complex trouble-shooting and repairs on industrial HVAC equipment.
Maintain equipment and systems maintenance logs.
Implement standard trade practices and procedures using proper safety precautions to produce quality workmanship commensurate with that of a journeyperson skilled in HVAC.
Read and understand blueprints and/or schematic diagrams.
Possess administrative, computer, and communication skills.

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience and technical training in HVAC
- State Journeyman's License, or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• Degree Required High School or GED
