CH2M HILL - Pipeline Engineer Jobs - Denver, CO

The Challenge? Help to meet the ever increasing global demand for energy. Our Pipeline Engineer position will offer you an exciting opportunity to help our clients design, build and maintain oil, gas and CO2 pipeline systems worldwide. CH2M HILL is currently working on some of the coolest pipeline projects under way. As a pipeline engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the technical aspects of projects that include design, planning and project coordination. You should be an Entry Level Engineering Graduate.

Our Entry Level Pipeline Engineers:

Provide high quality, leading edge engineering solutions to the pipeline industry for our clients Interacts with survey, permitting, environmental and ROW acquisition teams.
Design pigging facilities and associated equipment, develop piping specifications, make material selections and has exposure to different types of horizontal drills, HDD plans and profiles, permitting and corrosion control of pipeline.s
Assist in the Development of class locations, hydrostatic test schematics, pipe stress calculations, mainline valve spacing, and site specific drawings or plans (i.e. road crossings, railroad crossings).
Design, coordinate and communicate deliverables per Client and Company specifications.
Participate in the development of technical specifications for materials and construction.
Assist in development of Total Install Cost estimates.
Develop material specifications, data sheets, and material lists.
Provide technical support during construction Is experienced in applicable industry codes and regulations such as ASME B31.4 and ASME B31.8, DOT 192 and 192, etc.
Posses excellent verbal communication skills and a good understanding of work related documents.

SPECIAL NOTE: CH2M HILL will not sponsor a work visa (e.g. H-1B visa, etc.) to fill this position.

Basic Qualifications

BS degree in Mechanical or Petroleum engineering, or related engineering field
6 months of pipeline work experience

Degree Required

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree

Preferred Years of Experience
