Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering Discipline.
• Minimum 2 years related experience in the New Jersey New York area.
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet.
• Valid Driver's License. Must be able to provide own transportation to job sites.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and writing skills.

Job Description:

This position entails conducting geotechnical investigation field borings, preparing detailed boring logs, collecting soil samples, and processing these samples for shipment to geotechnical laboratories. Additional assignments could include collecting groundwater samples; comparing laboratory analytical results to state and federal regulatory criteria for contaminants; preparing reports for clients and regulatory agencies describing site conditions and results; and overseeing contractors.
