Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

Basic Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School Graduate or Demonstrated Equivalent.
2. 6 years of experience in a technical support, skilled trades services position; performing maintenance services in an industrial environment or demonstrated equivalent in education and training.
3. 4 years experience in a maintenance supervisory or management position with a focus on facilities related maintenance in an industrial manufacturing or R&D environment.
4. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent trade school credentials preferred.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites with emphasis on the ability to navigate and formulate within Excel and Access
3. 2 years of experience in a supervisory or Sub-contract management capacity within a technical industrial or manufacturing environment
4. 2 years of experience in a leadership position demonstrating the ability to analyze Facility Maintenance related problems (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Grounds); then recognize and determine solutions (engineered or otherwise) for resolution. This includes but is not limited to; opportunities for improved asset reliability, improved quality results, safer work conditions, and lower maintenance cost, improved work plans to increase efficiency.
5. Experience in creating Power Point presentation and giving presentation in front of large audiences
6. Experience with the development and training of a multi-skilled technical workforce
7. Experience creating metrics and data mining for driving performance results
8. Experience utilizing Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 4 M's, etc.
9. Able to work safely and comfortably at heights up to 150ft (i.e. water tower, building roof tops, ladders, aerial lifts)

This position may require a valid Driver's License.
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
All Positions with URS will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location.
All Positions with URS may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.

Physical Requirements
• Have the ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
• Have the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
• Have the flexibility to bend, stoop and/or squat repetitively during shift.
• Have the ability to kneel repetitively during shift.
• Have the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis during shift.
• Have the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis during shift.
• Have the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
• Have the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

Special Requirements:
• Coping with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

URS has a 2nd shift Supervisor - Facility Maintenance position available in East Peoria, IL!

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, technical support, direction, safety training, audits and quality control to URS process/facility/contract employees in a fast paced Industrial environment. The supervisor is responsible for the prioritization of work based on needs of the client and the on time completion of all work, as well as documentation involved. This position will also provide and / or schedule needed training and cross training for multi-functional employees, and ill be responsible for implementation of all safety rules and guidelines for all URS employees. Responsibilities also include scheduling, planning, documentation, maintaining performance and reporting with URS management team and client.
