AECOM is hiring a CADD Drafter I to support our Transportation group in Minneapolis. Under general supervision, performs routine to moderately complex application, scale and edit assignments involving the use of computer aided design and drafting equipment and other computer graphics software.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Utilizing computer hardware, software, digitizers, plotters and associated peripheral equipment, prepares layouts and drawings of bridge and highway details according to established engineering specifications.
- Analyzes designs and confers with Designers to resolve details that are not completely defined.
- Edits, revises and updates changes to existing drawings and graphics.
- Transfers developed drawings from disk to reproducible medium; converts drawings to other digital formats.
- Maintains and inventories drawings and graphics.
- Assists in preparing hardcopy and digital files for submission to clients.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Perform on the job training and independent research on subject materials that will assist the trainee to obtain the NICET Level I Certification.
- Meets established utilization goals; daily attendance and punctuality, and quality of work expectations.
Qualifications:
- 0-5 years of experience as a CADD Technician.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred
